Tapas Ghosal

Tapas Ghosal, born in 1965 in Hooghly, West Bengal, is an Indian artist known for his abstract and impressionistic paintings. He graduated with a First Class First in Painting from the Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata, in 1989, and completed his postgraduate studies at Benaras Hindu University in 1992. Ghosal's work often reflects the temporal and spiritual dimensions of Varanasi, rendered through pastel shades and contemplative imagery. His artworks have been exhibited in various galleries across India.
