Giovanna Caruso

Giovanna Caruso is an Italian-born, nomadic artist whose vibrant work is deeply infused with her travels across Asia. A graduate of Ravenna’s prestigious Liceo Artistico, she later lived and painted in India and Nepal from 1983 onwards .

Her paintings—spanning portraits, still-lifes, and mystical landscapes—are a colourful fusion of classical techniques and the rich visual tapestry of Asia.
Often described as life diaries on canvas, her work captures the pulse of crowds, urban energy, sacred imagery, and everyday beauty, with playful, unexpected details emerging from her travels
